Do you want to make your everyday life easier and combine easy-to-use and secure Haymatic® technology with a traditional hay rack? We have automated various hay racks, including brands like Kerbl, Kellfri and Jourdain. Three walls of an existing hay rack can be automated.

The Haymatic® Smartkit has all the durable materials and programmes of the Haymatic® hay feeders – the only difference is the frame of your hay rack. We can ship you the Smartkit automation parts or you can pick them up from our warehouse.

Always check the suitability of your hay rack for automation with us first: email us the model number of the hay rack and include a photo if possible. The hay rack should be intact and in good condition.

Once the customer has confirmed the order, they will receive an order confirmation with delivery times.

According to the agreement, the delivery time is 1–3 months.

Collection from the warehouse or delivery to the customer. Our service includes freight tendering.

Payment in full after delivery if the delivery time is less than 3 months from the date of the order. Advance payment of 20% in connection with the order if the delivery time is more than 3 months.

The term of payment is fourteen (14) days from the date of the invoice. We also accept Svea’s financing options for businesses and individuals. Ask for more information!

The VAT for horse entrepreneurs is 0%. For private persons, the value-added tax of their country of residence is added to the price.

The Haymatic® automatic hay feeder only needs flat, frost-resistant ground and an electrical connection to a socket to function. Installations must use 3 x 2.5 mm cables, and the maximum distance from the power supply is 100 metres.

The hay feeder may need to be raised from the ground if the horses are tall.

The customer is responsible for blocking the fourth side of the hay rack (e.g. with plywood) if it is placed in the middle of a paddock.

The dimensions may need to be revised together with the customer.

Metal frame for hay cage (180×180 cm), which can be fitted with hay net (hay net has 5 cm holes). Metal frame (75 € VAT 0%) and hay net (50 € VAT 0%) can be purchased separately.

How the Haymatic® automatic hay feeder works

With the Haymatic® automatic hay feeder, feeding horses is flexible and easy.

1. Set feeding times

Decide how often and at what times you want to feed your horses. You can set the automatic hay feeder to open up to 12 times a day. As the hay feeder opens, the walls descend and give the horses access to hay.

2. Determine the feeding time duration

You can determine how long the feeding walls of the hay feeder remain open at a time. The most common feeding time is 30 minutes, but the length can be adjusted freely. Two separate time groups can be set for the feeder. You can also attach a hay net to the prefabricated holes in the hay feeder.

3. Determine the height of the feeding walls

Determine at what height you want the feeding walls to stop ascending. The hay feeder is ideal for both large horses and small ponies, as the height of the walls can be determined according to the size of the horse.

4. New Bale feature

With the New Bale feature, you can also reduce hay waste. The rising walls can be set to a specified height to support the amount of hay inside, for example, for four days.

5. Lifting force of the doors

The lifting force of the doors can also be adjusted freely, depending on the size and strength of the horses.
